Keep Our Dogs Free! End of Year Giving $25 Campaign
Your Support Lifts Up 2 Lives!
Putnam Service Dogs is a social impact organization that trains service dogs for veterans and people with disabilities other than blindness. By transforming unwanted rescue dogs into highly valued members of our community, our dogs change the lives of people with difficult challenges, helping them live happier, fuller, and more independent lives.
Your donation helps us transform the lives of service dogs — and recipients!
Eddie, a black lab mix transported up from Mississippi to Westchester SPCA, and was adopted by us Feb 2022. We placed her with Sarah, as her Service Dog. August 2023.
Sarah, wrote this about Eddie 7/11/24:
Eddie has improved nearly every aspect of my life. She helps me keep my balance while walking, picks up dropped items, and gives me signals when a flare up is coming which allows me to take my medications and prepare. I’m in significantly less pain each day because of her help. I’ve gone from being dependent on my family, to being able to manage my home myself and run errands alone. My overall health, physical and mental, has improved tremendously since Eddie came into my life.
What donors say about working with us:
